Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Writes and edits technical documents including proposals
  • Writes and edits procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Meets with sales staff, engineers, programmers, and project managers to learn about specific proposals, products or processes.
  • Assesses the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding.
  • Plans writing processes and sets timelines & deadlines.
  • Creates or works with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding an offering or proposal.
  • Experience with ICT technology
  • Hands on experience with European Tender processes & writing responses to Public Sector deals.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in Dutch and English, additional European languages would be a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Hands on experience in writing response to RFI’s and RFP’s
  • Strong experience in participating in commercial processes
  • Sound understanding of technical background, ICT offerings and complex services/IT landscape.
  • Preferred Experience – Someone from larger SI organisations
